It isalso responsible for serving as the liaison between WTI and the WagnerEquipment Co. managers, as assigned. This instructor, if assignedtechnical training, may be held accountable for proficiency in assignedtechnical training areas such as Wheel Loaders, small TT Tractors, MotorGraders, Off-Highway Trucks, Gas Engines, Agricultural Equipment, andother equipment as assigned.Pay Rate: $65,000.00- $80,000.00 annuallyPay rate is based upon experience and education.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilitiesto perform these essential functions.Assists with creating a skills database and tracking training progressHelps coordinate the TCDP (Technician Career Development Plan)Assists in creating an individual schedule of classes for WTICompletes required paperwork and budget trackingParticipates in scheduled department activities and becomes an active partnerin planning effective strategy for WTIWorks with key company personnel in developing class schedulesMeets on a regular basis with Wagner Equipment Co. managers to review trainingneeds for the shop techniciansAssesses each technician to identify training gaps (TCDP)Markets WTI classes to outside customersDistributes relevant WTI class offering information to internal employeesDesigns class materials and facilitates classes in response to the assessmentresults and to the requests of our management staffAttends needed classes to become proficient with the equipment listed underthe General Responsibilities sectionKeeps informed with New Product Updates and sends relevant information to theappropriate people within our companyOther duties as assigned by managerRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED1-3 years administrative/clerical experience3-5 years customer service experience3-5 years supervisory/management experience5+ years technical or mechanical experience with earthmoving equipment orgas engines1-3 years experience as an instructor in a related vocational field, such asdiesel or heavy equipment maintenance and repairExperience with curriculum development and adult learning theoryWork Environment:Noise: ModerateIndoors and OutdoorsPhysical Demands & Competencies:Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearingData Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational,communication & math skillsSafety & Product KnowledgeBasic comprehension of mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and machinecomponentsBasic nowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointTechnical Writing SkillsKnowledge of assessment testing and skill gap analysisAbility to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc.Medium work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 32 pounds ormoreTravel Requirements:25- 50%Other Duties:Job Offers are contingent upon all required pre-employment screenings whichmay include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcoholtesting, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain acomprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that arerequired of the employee for this job.
