　　About This Role:

　　The Department of Food, Nutrition, Dietetics and Health (FNDH), withinthe College of Health and Human Sciences, is currently seeking a9-month Teaching Assistant Professor with expertise in public healthnutrition to join their team. This position will teach and developcurricula for undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students, andparticipate in academic governance responsibilities. This non-tenuretrack position will report directly to the Department Head.

　　Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

　　Teach on-campus and online undergraduate and graduate coursesrelated to public health nutritionDesign and update course curricula to align with industry standardsand advancements in public health nutritionServe as major advisor and committee member for graduate studentsCollaborate with colleagues and students on research projects,fostering a culture of academic excellenceEstablish partnerships with organizations in the local community,public health agencies, and stakeholders to address local andregional nutrient-related public health issuesStay current with trends and developments in public health nutritionthrough continuous professional development and participation inrelevant conferences and workshopsProvide service to the program, department, college, and universityOther duties as assignedThis 9-month position at the rank of teaching assistant professor hasa negotiable starting date of Spring, Summer, or Fall 2024, with acompetitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
