Description Robert Half is looking for a Tax Accountant to join our client! The Tax Accountant assists with financial and income tax statements, making sure that they comply with tax laws by filing their federal and state tax returns. This is the role for a deadline driven Tax Accountant with excellent attention to detail and organization.

　　How you will make an impact

　　Guide management on the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws

　　Create tax solutions to incorrect tax fillings or complicated tax issues

　　Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits

　　Oversee tax preparation work that is outsourced

　　Make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations

　　Maintain the company's tax database and prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, and reports

　　Stay informed on tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications

　　Put together accurate quarterly and annual tax reports Requirements - Detailed and have the ability work independently

　　Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

　　Problem-solving and creative thinking skills

　　CPA highly preferred

　　Excellent organizational skills

　　2+ years of public or corporate tax

　　Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required

　　Able to manage time well
