Description

　　One of our clients in Hayward is looking for a Tax Preparer for a contract opportunity.

　　Prepare and complete accurate individual and business tax returns in compliance with current tax laws and regulations.

　　Gather necessary financial documents from clients and ensure all required information is obtained.

　　Conduct client interviews to assess their tax situation and identify potential deductions and credits.

　　Stay informed about changes in tax laws and attend training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

　　Review and verify the accuracy of tax returns before submission to tax authorities.

　　Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

　　Keep detailed records of client interactions and tax preparation activities.

　　Requirements

　　High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or related field is a plus.

　　Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role.

　　Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

　　Proficient in tax preparation software and MS Office Suite.

　　Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

　　Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

　　Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
