  Purpose

  Our Strategic Sourcing Managers proactively deliver high quality and diverse talent pipelines at a senior level. Partnering with business and HR stakeholders across global markets to ensure that Talent Engagement teams successfully deliver a world class service against global hiring goals.

  The Strategic Souring manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a robust and diverse candidate pipelines across Diageo’s global recruiting model. Leveraging cutting edge sourcing tools and techniques ensuring the highest calibre of candidate is delivered.

  Required to work across different verticals and multiple regions the Strategic Souring Managers act as deep subject matter experts to their business partners. Working directly with internal senior level business stakeholders to ensure a high quality search brief is developed and formal sourcing strategy agreed.

  This role requires exceptional stakeholder engagement, liaising with HR Directors, Talent Engagement Managers and senior executives. Ensuring a consistent and effective process is followed.

  This role must be able to manage multiple projects and searches at the same time across multiple geographies and business lines:

  The Strategic Sourcing Manager will become a subject matter expert (SME) in hiring domains. Developing a deep knowledge of the senior talent pools and distinctive profiles. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will leverage this knowledge and combine with market needs and challenges to build sourcing solutions

  Ability to develop a deep understand of Diageo’s complex and varied job profiles whilst understanding best practices in resourcing and development of appropriate networksSupport the Global Strategic Sourcing Lead through building a virtual “one team” operating cultureEngage and help to shape process and technology to provide a world class sourcing functionSupports the build of the Global Diageo Employer Brand and EVP in conjunction with the Employer Brand teamProviding excellent candidate experience is pivotal in creating highly engaged pipelines of talent.Holds personal accountability for performance with minimal direction from the Global Strategic Sourcing Lead – takes ownership in the areas of expertise to drive results

  Qualifications

  Experience of developing outreach and engagement strategies for senior level hiring. Demonstrating the ability to manage, organize and prioritize long term candidate development pipeline.Sourcing Grand Master with digital sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings); Strong experience with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Talent/Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)Deep understanding of the HR components/hiring process and current talent acquisition/market trends, coupled with a strong external radar and awareness of external best practiceVersed in the power of employer branding and how to use this advantageously within talent attraction and engagementAbility to engage with the Talent Engagement Leadership and turn market intelligence into insight that helps inform new programs and approachesExceptional consultative skills with the ability influence and advise stakeholdersAbility to build trust based relationships, managing confidential situations.Effective analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
