About Talent Development Specialist

  Carlisle Companies, has an exciting opportunity for a learning and development profesional to join their HR team as a Talent Development Specialist on the Training and Talent Development Team at their Carlisle Construction Materials divisional HQ in Carlisle PA. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about talent development, eager to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, and looking to make a meaningful impact in their career.

  Primary Functions:

  Support and guide the leadership team, pursuing the alignment of development of employees for current and future roles within the organization.Partners closely with leaders to plan and implement enterprise-wide change and organizational transformation strategies that support the vision, core values, and strategic priorities.Facilitate use of Onboarding Toolkits and training of hiring managers on how to effectively onboard new employees. Update and enhance Onboarding tools.Assesses, designs, and delivers OD consulting services that link to strategic business objectives including, organizational diagnosis, team development, talent management, employee development and workforce planning.Collaborates to enhance business performance including conducting needs assessments, focus groups, collecting and analyzing organization data, and facilitating interventions.Performance process execution and enhancements including communication and reporting.Work with business leaders on effective Individual Development Planning.Support and create developmental programs such as the Sales Development Program.Duties and Responsibilities:

  Assists and supports talent development efforts within the organization.Work with leadership to develop and sustain new hire on-boarding programsSupports the and implementation of a structured mentoring program for the organization.Vet and support the use of external coaches for professional development.Lead the quarterly campus on-boarding efforts.Work with employees to create effective development plan based off the Korn Ferry Assessments.Support to strengthen teamwork within departments and cross departments.Help to drive DE&I efforts across the organization.Assist with the implementation of leader and professional development course that align with development plans.Assists to develop and implement career pathing efforts.Support Performance Management efforts including high potential development and performance improvement.Education and Experience:

  Bachelors degree preferrably in training, education, human resources, or organizational development.5+ years of experience in learning or talent development with a focus on; performance management and/or employee development.Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
