Job Overview:
Reports to the Systems Completion Manager and responsible for coordinating the development of system packages and handover documentation. To ensure system data integrity in the Project’s selected Completions Management System in accordance with the Completions Plan.
Understanding of key Engineering drawings for systemisation and completion activities is essential.
Knowledge of OPERCOM and ICAPS on a large oil & gas project is a plus.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively within the Project team and with Client to maintain positive relationships.
Responsible for maintaining data integrity in Project’s selected Completions Management System.
Understand and implement the Completions Plan for the project.
Performs coordination of completion activities between Completions, Quality, Construction, Commissioning and Company personnel as necessary.
Make sure all ITP’s, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Completion Check Sheets are completed and signed off in the database.
Work closely with the Systems Completion Manager to ensure the system packages are defined correctly in the database and in accordance with current handover strategy to Company.
Liaise with the Systems Completion Administrator to ensure all progress status reports are issued for distribution to the site team throughout the various phases of the project.
Liaise with the Punchlist Coordinator to ensure all Punchlist records up to date in the database.
Liaise with the Preservation Coordinator to ensure all Preservation records up to date in the database.
Plan daily activities based on schedule requirements, procedures, and available work fronts.
Interface with the SMP, E&I and Buildings Sub-contractors on site for all completion activities.
Review interfaces with Vendors and Third Parties.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Preferably possess a degree in Engineering or Information Technology or an equivalent diploma.
Must have a minimal of 3 years’ experience on EPC projects as a completions specialist / coordinator / administrator.
Must have experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in a Completions position.
Experience with ICAPS software is preferred but other Completions Management System will be considered.
Understanding of key Engineering drawings such as P&ID’s, SLD’s, I&C architecture, telecom block diagrams, unit plot plans, etc.
Demonstrates a broad technical knowledge of construction, commissioning and completion activities.
Must have a good understanding of the handover, walk down and punch listing processes.
Must have a good understanding of preservation and maintenance activities.
Must have a good understanding of compiling system / handover packages.
Able to effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts to other engineers and non-engineers.
Must have strong English communications skills, both oral and written. Second language is a plus.
Must have excellent computer software skills in MS Office suite as a minimum.
Must have good Presentation skills for meetings with Construction and Client.
Must have excellent organizational skills and be adaptable to various needs of various discipline groups.
