*Where You Will Work *
Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning, and more. Our flexible work program allows employees to work virtually as well as come together in person when needed at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. Employees can work remotely from most states in the U.S., with the exception of California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the position shift to in-person (office/site) work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time, so long as the position meets the established eligibility for these benefits.
Description
Lead Systems Architect responsible for the overall architecture, design, performance and availability of global server, storage and disaster recovery solutions integrated and aligned with overall MIS strategies. Analyze technologies and recommend upgrades/changes based on assessments of the organization's current and future network technology needs, with a collaborative and Agile mindset.
Create both short and long-term enterprise Systems technology roadmaps based on an understanding of the organizational strategic requirements, technology context and business needs, set direction and lead improvements of techniques, methodologies and deliverables.
Design secure solutions and create implementation and support models for Cloud and Hybrid Systems, Servers, Storage and Disaster Recovery technologies.
Define and review reports to ensure all services are completely, securely and successfully delivered; proactively intervene to correct problems when they are encountered; and use metrics to improve processes.
Work effectively with other IS teams and outsourcing providers to ensure technology solutions are effectively designed, managed and performed.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or related field, AND
Eight (8) years of experience in the Information Services, which includes five (5) years of direct experience with Server platform, virtualization, storage and DR Technologies
Enterprise-level data center design, implementation and management.
Strong and proven architecture documentation and presentation skills, creating technology roadmaps and strategic direction
Strong understanding across Infrastructure systems and components design and support concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, AND
Ten (10) years of experience in the Information Services, which includes eight (8) years as a Sr. Systems Storage Engineer and three (3) years of Data Center Architecture and Solutions design.
Deep experience with Hyper-converged platforms (Nutanix), Cisco UCS, NetApp, VMWare, Backup/DR solutions
Microsoft Azure Cloud implementation and migrations
One year of active Agile Methodology involvement, mindset and coaching
Experience with securing and hardening Microsoft and RHEL platforms and SOX audits
Advanced experience and knowledge of IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, Active Directory, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platform, budgeting, and governance
Experience integrating hybrid environments with Cloud providers (Azure/AWS)
Strong liaison with enterprise, server, storage, security, database and application architects to develop comprehensive solutions
Strong Project Management skills to direct and oversee implementation of architecture
Criteria/Conditions:
Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator. Occasionally work will be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting.
Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment.
Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.

What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $122,500-$189,900 . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance. Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration. Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
