This role is responsible to aid in the design, development, andmaintenance of systems standards and platforms and will do so under theguidance of their Manager. This position will assist in thereview/assessment of enterprise needs and may conduct feasibilitystudies for projects and may assist in the evaluation and selection ofglobal systems standards. This team member is responsible primarily forthe assessment and optimization of monitoring platforms, builddocumentation, patch management, backup management, and will align workin these areas with current standards and enterprise needs. They arealso responsible for developing requests for proposal, evaluating vendorproducts, and making recommendations on selection. This team member mayfunction in a position providing guidance, direction to other ITenterprise functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Providesecond tier technical support to global business units and its otherinformation technology teams to resolve systems issues and to supportthe implementation of new systems projects. Support systems teamactivities related to merger and acquisitions projects. Collaborate withexternal/internal customers and Global IT teams to analyze informationneeds and functional requirements for the implementation ofcompute/storage/infrastructure systems Maintains best practice alignedsystems builds and ensure compliance with security policies andprocedures. Evaluate, review and if appropriate, implementrecommendations for improvements to existing systems team procedures anddocumentation allowing for efficient and cost-effective delivery ofhighly available services Resolve incident response and service requesttickets as they arise and ensure timely resolution MinimumQualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, orrelated field or equivalent experience 3 years of experienceparticipating in major server or compute infrastructure projects as ananalyst, architect or technical lead Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with cross functional and global teams.
