About Custodial Services Supervisor

  Staff positions are supportive roles providing support to our rehabilitation mission. Applicants for staff positions do not need to have a barrier to employment to be eligible for these roles.

  Peckham Inc. - Custodial Services Supervisor

  SUMMARY

  The Custodial Services Supervisor keeps office buildings or similar buildings in a clean and orderly condition. This position inspects and is responsible for a state contracted facility and is an evening shift. They would be responsible for the daily supervision and training of the Custodial Services Technicians as well as cleaning as directed by the facility supervisor. The shift is 3:00PM to 11:30PM.

  MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  Lead a team of 10+ team members and provide guidance to all Peckham policies and procedures

  Supervise the team by helping with training and development, coaching and performance management

  Provide assistance with scheduling team members

  Arrange work for team members to complete, when necessary

  Learn the budgets for the contract and begin to understand how to work within the budgets

  OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  Prioritize daily tasks in an ever-changing environment

  Ability to keep records and send reports as required by contract

  Assist with discipline steps and corrective actions, when necessary

  Review, correct, and approve payroll through the OnTime system

  Build and maintain relationships with internal partners and stake holders, as well as external partners, if necessary

  Direct, assign and complete work as appropriate

  Train, coach, and adapt to the needs of the team

  Maintain safe and clean work environment

  Promote Peckham’s vision values and services to all customers and stakeholders

  Assist in maintaining organizational wide quality standards

  Other related duties as assigned

  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  This position supervises up to 10 people with disabilities and/or other barriers to employment.

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1-2 years’ experience in a custodial capacity

  6 months – 1 year experience in a supervisor or team lead capacity

  Combination of education and experience accepted

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  Familiarity or ability to learn Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelPHYSICAL DEMANDS
