We have several operating facilities and deliver products tocustomers globally. We are currently looking for a Swing Shift (3pm -11pm) Machining Supervisor at our Cudahy, WI facility. The purpose ofthe Production Machine Line Supervisor is to direct, and train assignedhourly employees in the methods and techniques necessary to producequality products on time, in a safe, cost-effective manner. Summary:Directly supervises hourly employees and the corresponding ProductionMachine units. Responsibilities include review of work instructions withemployees as necessary and the assignment of manpower and equipment tosupport customer delivery requirements. Provide training to assignedhourly employees when necessary. Examples: New machines and controllers,new tooling, or when employee requires review of machine operation dueto transferring. Coordinate maintenance repairs for planned andunplanned equipment downtime. Collect on a daily basis all datanecessary to compile piece counts, hours running, set-up and downtime.Support shift reporting via Syteline and EOS communications. Communicateon a daily basis with Production Control and Tool Engineering to assurethat required materials, prints, tooling, and Met. Releases areassembled prior to assignment to machine operator. Provide informationand assist Facilities Engineering, Tool Engineering and ManufacturingEngineering in the investigation and implementation of cost reductions,process improvements, and tooling tryouts. Provide information andassist NOD corrective action investigation. Implement corrective actionas necessary. Assure compliance to ATI Cudahy Operations qualityrequirements through application of AS9100 systemic procedures and workinstructions. Promote employee involvement in Safety problem solving andcost reduction efforts. Ensure the highest level of safety and goodhousekeeping in work environment through implementation of the ATICudahy Operations Safety Program and personal example. Ensure compliancewith applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA, EPA, DNR and otherfederal, state, and local regulator agencies. Ensure harmoniousrelations between labor and management through consistent application ofthe labor agreement(s) and company policies.
