Job Summary: As a member of the healthcare team,collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patient insuringthat the goals of the patients are met and the mission of the hospitalis carried out. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Aminimum of 1 year as a Surgical Technologist experience is required (1year may include time spent in orientation/training). EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. LICENSUREDESCRIPTION: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for theHealthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is requiredwithin 90 days of hire. Completion of an accredited (CAAHEP) SurgicalTechnologist program is required. Surgical Technologist Level 3 staff,or above, with a date of hire or adjusted date of hire prior to 8/1/2020are not required to be certified, as long as they meet the criteria inthe job description.
