The Foundry Buyer will be responsible for purchasing materials to support Wieland North America's foundry and recycling requirements. This role can be located in Montpelier, OH or Granite City, IL and will be fully on-site. While this role is local, occasional travel to other locations will be required (25% travel).ResponsibilitiesFoundry Buyer Responsibilities:Purchase materials to support Wieland North America's foundry and recycling requirementsWork closely with commercial teams across various verticals within Wieland, such as; electronics, industrial manufacturing services, wholesale trading and supply to operationsExpand Wieland's footprint in the recycling space, support execution of our strategic business growth, culture safety excellence and our commercial strategy.Engage in sourcing activities of recycled materials for existing foundries and support Wieland's broader strategy, financial objectives, and sustainability initiativesParticipate in the development and execution of strategic sourcing and trading for Wieland's recycling business unitEnhance Wieland's presence in the market by expanding current and new business streamsWork with management to refine KPI's and maintain a world class commercial teamFoundry Buyer Qualifications:B.S. degree in business or technical related discipline2-5 years of broad metals related experience including procurement, trading, and hedging.
