  The Supv Payroll & HR Service Center is responsible for the accurate, timely and consistent processing of hourly and salaried payroll, including employment taxation, for employees. This role will ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures and with federal, state and local tax reporting requirements. A process and efficiency approach to problem solving and high attention to detail are keys to success!

  Responsibilities/Expectations:

  Supervises team responsible for completing biweekly payroll processes and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time

  Leads, maintains and ensures consistent adherence to company pay policies and practices

  Aligns with evolving federal, state, and local payroll and taxation requirements; liaise with internal and external audit parties as necessary

  Collaborates with human resources and other partners to improve processes, enhance systems, and/or tackle payroll-related issues of varying levels of complexity

  Maintains, reviews and takes action related to call center and payroll related metrics and key performance indicators

  Provides coaching, development and day-to-day support to team members

  Other duties as assigned

  Education/Years of Experience:

  Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Human Resources or similar and five (5) years’ related experience OR Associate's Degree/High School diploma/GED and seven (7) years’ related experienceOther Requirements:

  Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

  Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills

  Demonstrates process and efficiency mindset

  Possesses unwavering attention to detail and analytical capabilities

  Exhibits strong leadership with high emotional intelligence

  Preferred: Workday experience, especially payroll and time tracking

  Preferred: Accredited Payroll Certification (APA, CPP etc)
