This role combines administrative duties with hands-on clinical expertise, ensuring effective supervision while contributing to the delivery of high-quality radiology services.Responsibilities:Adds value as a key member of management; understands the business, financials, industry, customers and strategy.Supervises employees, provides direction, coaches, trains and develops, and manages performance to company goals and expectations.Prepares, manages, and adheres to department budget to maintain expenditure controls.Plans, organizes, and supervises the day-to-day operational activities including staffing/scheduling, training, competency evaluation, and technical assistance/oversight, supply/equip procurement, budget, staff relations, equipment oversight/maintenance, quality control/assurance and PI activities within the assigned areas of Diagnostic Radiology in conjunction with the Radiology Managers and Administrative Director.Provides leadership and support to clinical staff, with the additional responsibility of actively performing X-ray procedures. This role combines managerial duties with hands-on clinical expertise, ensuring effective supervision while contributing to the delivery of high-quality radiology services.Provides effective, professional leadership to senior technologists, nurses, and/or staff.Represents and/or coordinates activities of assigned areas within the department, hospital, and outside agencies and organizations.Maintains ODH regulatory/JCAHO and standards of performance and professional conduct.Other duties as required.Other information:Technical ExpertiseExperience working with all levels within an organization is required.Experience in healthcare is required.Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is recommended.Education and ExperienceEducation: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelors' degree is preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.Certification: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, licensed by the State of Ohio as a radiographer is required.
