　　As the Royal Canadian Air Forces’ prime service provider at 5 Wing Goose Bay, Labrador, our team delivers comprehensive air operations, emergency services, logistics and engineering expertise to the Department of National Defence. We work on behalf of DND’s “no fail” mission at Goose Bay: supporting NORAD operations for the projection of air power on the north and northeast coasts of Canada, while supporting military training for the Canadian Armed Forces, Allies and NORAD. 5 Wing Goose Bay provides effective training facilities, adaptable infrastructures, and a unique, austere, and challenging training location. 　　You will be part of a team that works closely with the military customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality and efficient services to DND. 　　Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Ensures all supply documents, issues and receipts are actioned in appropriate Inventory/Finance systems required, including DRMIS, and all other systems required for supply operations.

　　Action all Laundry/Dry cleaning and tailoring requests for Serco and its customers.

　　Register and control incoming and outgoing halocarbons in accordance with all government and DND regulations.

　　Control, handle, ship, receive and distribute all test equipment that requires calibration.

　　Make local purchases on behalf of customers, providing best practices including price and quality of goods.

　　Ensures all supply documents, issues and receipts are actioned in the computerized inventory system.

　　Maintains internal documents as required for audit activity.

　　Maintain records of GFE/GFM on loan to the contractor from DND.

　　Maintain an inventory of tools and equipment required for various trades in the Supply Tool Crib.

　　Assist in monthly stocktaking counts.

　　Determine method of shipment and prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents

　　Prepare materials for shipment, assemble containers and crates, and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.

　　Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.

　　Unpack, Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents record shortages and reject damaged goods and route goods to appropriate storage areas.

　　Maintain Shipping and Receiving record-keeping systems.

　　Ensure dangerous goods are shipped, received, stored, and handled in accordance with applicable Dangerous Goods Regulations and government regulations.

　　Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

　　Provide a Forward Delivery service of all material to/from customers.

　　Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in a warehouse, tool room, supply room or other areas and are stored by: classification, quantity, commodity groups, recognized general and special storage areas, classified material, hazardous, climate control, shelf life and attractive stores.

　　Maintain records of amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using manual or computerized inventory system.

　　Disposal and redistribution of material will be actioned in accordance with procedures contained in the Serco General Administrative Instructions (GAI’s) the CF Supply Administration Manual and the Controlled Goods Regulations.

　　Assist customers to meet their supply requirements.

　　When scheduled, ensure availability for call out during off duty hours.

　　Ensure all assigned deliverables and other reports are completed accurately and on time.

　　Visibly demonstrate Serco Values and work practices while completing duties.

　　Other related duties relevant to this position as may be required.

　　Qualifications

　　Qualification

　　Post Secondary Education required.

　　Completion of Specialized Training in Warehousing required.

　　Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Warehousing Software

　　Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Screening Test.

　　Ability to operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment.

　　Must have previous experience with Transportation of Dangerous Goods.

　　Must be capable of completing DND 3K training.

　　Must obtain and maintain a control goods security clearance.

　　Must have completed a “WHMIS” (Workplace Hazardous Material Information System) training program.

　　Position requires individuals to hold a valid NL driver’s license class 5 minimum.

　　Ability to obtain a Drivers’s Abstract

　　Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Level II security clearance is required.

　　Possession of or the ability to obtain and maintain a Ramp Defensive Driving Course (DND/RDDC) certification to operate vehicles on the airfield is required.

　　Hourly Rate: $28.97 Hours per week: 37.5
