POSITION SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Specialist position is an integral part within Howmet Aerospace Washington Operations. As a member of the Supply Chain Team, this position serves as the liaison and primary contact to affiliate and/or trade customers. The person will be responsible for providing superior service throughout the entire order and fulfillment process. Must have the ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate with members of various departments such as operations, supply chain, management, etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Timely processing of Precision Sheet affiliate purchase orders and change orders.
Maintains awareness of corporate contractual lead times and drives associated purchase order acknowledgement.
Order entry of all sales orders and change orders into SAP.
Work with planning coordinator to provide timely order acknowledgements and commit dates to affiliates.
Work with Quality and Shipping teams to ensure customer orders comply with specifications and requirements and are properly shipped with required documents.
Ensure that all activities for Precision Sheet customer ordering on contracts and/or LTAs meet requirements and are in compliance.
Ability to understand affiliates needs and inquiries and ensure alignment with applicable contract. Be able to field requests, determine if requests are in scope or out of scope to given contractual agreements, and respond accordingly.
Manage project of creating unique material masters for all silver sheet part numbers and coordinate creation of associated black sheet part numbers with material coordinator
Drive standard contract specifications with Quality teams and actively participate on non-standard contract calls as hosted by Corporate
Support Sullivan inventory transfers and help support any other Sullivan order activities
Manage work order processing improvements by managing tolerances and engaging Quality and Operations on standard routers and mapping specific to routers
Audit work orders prior to work orders being sent to production
Back-up the Planning Coordinator

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED
1 Year experience in supply chain, production planning, scheduling, customer service, contract administration
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Solid knowledge of SAP or similar ERP System.
Bachelor’s Degree in business or supply chain management
Excellent oral/written communication, analytical and organizational skills.
Effectively communicate with all levels of management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated knowledge of international contract terms, ITAR, EAR, and US import and export regulations.
A team player and people person. Must be able to interact with other members of the Sales & Commercial Team, Finance, Production, Quality, and Operations Departments.
