JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsible fordeveloping and executing optimalsourcing strategies by establishing and enhancing supplier relationshipsto drive sourcing initiatives to exceed product quality, service anddelivery expectations while mitigating supply chain risks. ESSENTIALRESPONSIBILITIES: Guide sourcing activity including status, history, andcriticality. Use purchasingtools to analyze, evaluate supplierperformance KPI\'s & work with suppliers for improvements as necessary.Lead supplier selection and qualification process; negotiate suppliercontracts while being aware of culture, currency, geographic, andpolitical environment. Build and maintain positive supplierrelationships through open & timely communication, on-site suppliervisits/audits, regular performance feedback, and conflict resolution ina timely and professional manner. Analyze and evaluate procurementpolicies and practices to identify opportunities for improvement.Promotes and works towards continuous value improvement for all aspectsof quality, service and cost with assigned supply base. Implements andexecutes procurement strategies in line with operations strategy andvision. Promotes early supplier involvement in New Product Developmentto achieve development performance goals, support project timelines, andmanage product cost. Lead specific departmental procurement initiativesto generate savings and efficiencies. Gathers and interprets data;utilizing key procurement informationto execute contracts, perform spendanalysis, and generate reports. Identifies insourcing and outsourcingopportunities. Support the S&OP process meetings to review servicelevels, performance against schedule, inventory strategy, and supplyplan to meet demand. Gathers market intelligence and trends forcommodities Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
