  Job Title:HR Generalist

  Location:Riverside, CA (5350 Wilson St, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509)

  Job Summary:The HR Generalist at CRST's Dedicated West division is responsible for providing professional HR support, guidance, and training to office employees, managers, and drivers. They play a crucial role in fostering a positive employee engagement environment, addressing organizational challenges, implementing HR policies, and managing employee recognition programs.

  Compensation:$64,480-$97,627/year Starting Wages (Pay Bi-Weekly) *A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range.   Day in the Job Preview:In a typical day, the HR Generalist at CRST's Dedicated West division engages in providing comprehensive HR support, conducting training sessions, addressing employee and management issues, implementing initiatives to enhance the workplace culture, and actively managing the employee recognition program to foster a positive and thriving work environment.

  Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  Provide HR support, guidance, and training to employees and management, including areas such as turnover, positive morale, employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and career pathing.

  Foster a positive employee engagement environment.

  Offer direction and guidance at all levels of the organization for resolving both management and employee issues.

  Assess and identify performance and organizational challenges.

  Develop and propose initiatives to enhance the culture and working environment positively.

  Deliver training and instruction on HR practices.

  Compile human resource statistics and reports to monitor organizational performance effectiveness.

  Implement human resources policies, procedures, and programs to address and resolve issues at their root cause.

  Actively participate in regular meetings to proactively influence sound HR practices.

  Manage employee recognition program and generate ideas for monthly, quarterly, and annual employee recognition events.

  Support the HRSC (Human Resources Service Center) and provide excellent customer service to address employee HR-related inquiries and concerns.

  Job Requirements:

  Successful completion of a CRST background check and drug screen is required.

  High school diploma or GED is required.

  3-5 years of HR experience is required.

  AA or BA in a relevant field is preferred.

  PHR, SHRM-CP or relevant certifications is preferred.

  Experience with HR training, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations or Organizational Effectiveness is preferred.

  Bilingual (Spanish) is highly preferred.

  Experience with 100+ employee companies and familiar with California laws & regulations is highly preferred.
