About Supply Chain Program Manager, Project Kuiper

  Description

  Have you ever wanted to be part of a team who is building industry changing technology? Amazon's Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

  The Primary responsibilities of this role include:

  Partner with Supply Chain teams to develop processes and tools to enable scalable and flexible operations

  Create mechanisms to drive improved optimization on existing Supply Chain structure as well as create efficient start up and standard work

  Develop new plans and roadmap to drive process scalability

  Scope and develop programs and associated roadmaps to deliver insights and drive decision-making

  Deep dive and analyze key business performance metrics, identify gaps, create plans to mitigate and drive to closure

  Support regular business reviews with senior leadership and operational teams to audit ongoing performance against key metrics and team goals

  Manage projects with multiple inputs and multiple stakeholders

  Partner closely with cross-functional teams to execute testing/validation initiatives aligned to team timelines

  Comfortably transition between big picture, strategic thinking and tactical, day-to-day planning and execution

  Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal business partners

  Facilitate process improvement initiatives

  Export Control Requirement:

  Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

  We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

  Redmond, WA, USA

  Basic Qualifications

  5+ years of program or project management experience

  5+ years of supply chain experience

  Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  5+ years experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  5+ years experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  Preferred Qualifications

  2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  Excellent at creating and maintaining working relationships across all levels and disciplines, receptive to feedback and input from others, and quick to apply changes.

  Exceptional communication (spoken and written) skills and an ability to navigate complex and unstructured cross-functional environment.

  Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
