You will investigateroutine metallurgical problems, determine compliance with specifications andevaluate products utilizing microscope, hardness, and tensile machines.You will prepare samples using lathes grinders, cut-off machines, powersaws, drill presses, milling and turning machines, polishingequipment, and measuring tools. You will work with various measuringdevices, hand tools, materials, supplies, equipment, and necessarysafety equipment.
