　　Supply Chain Planner

　　Are you looking for a job where you are responsible for the most optimized balance between supply and demand? Do you like to be in the middle of the supply chain and get your energy from planning as efficient as possible? Then we are looking for you!

　　The position:

　　As Supply Chain Planner you are working at the Abbot Nutrition planning center. You will be the primary source for all inventory information within the supply chain for all the relevant Abbott departments. You will be working with the Master Scheduler and the plants to adjust production planning, with the Distribution group to optimize shipping and with Customer Service to minimize impacts for commercial affiliates for exceptions that could not be solved within production planning.

　　The main responsibilities and tasks :

　　Coordinating supply of finished goods, produced at the plants, to the commercial affiliates

　　Optimizing inventory levels in the end to end supply chain

　　Monitor inventory on hand for both ALOG and the affiliates

　　Minimize stock outs for the commercial affiliates around the world

　　Minimizing obsolete inventory

　　Creating optimized shipment plan by ensuring that production releases and shipments are aligned

　　Following up ad hoc supply chain requests

　　Review key performance indicators regularly, identify opportunities to improve performance, and execute implementation of improvements

　　Requirements:

　　Bachelor or Master degree in a related field such as Supply Chain Management, Production Operations Management or Logistics Management

　　Good communication and teamwork skills are required to facilitate good working relationships with supply chain partner

　　Creative and analytical problem-solving skills

　　Effective writing and oral communication skills in both Dutch and English are required to facilitate information flow across internal and external supply chain partners

　　Innovative skills and initiative are required to identify and implement business process

　　Positive attitude, eager to learn and willing to go the extra mile in combination with a can-do mentality are vital traits for this position
