　　Position Summary :

　　We are seeking a Supplier Quality Technician (Contract) who is responsible for utilizing basic Quality function experience and skills for supporting the Advanced Supplier Quality team. The Supplier Quality Technician (contract) position will review supplier submission package reviews (

　　PPAP, FAI and customer specific) and will be trained and supported by AQE team members on project work.

　　It is preferred the Supplier Quality Technician be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident allowing for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (

　　ITAR) compliance.

　　Position Responsibilities :

　　Successfully review and complete supplier submission package reviews,PPAP, FAI, customer specific.Participate in drawing reviews, record findings and report back to Engineering and AQEComplete submission package review and upload to supplier portalsCommunicate with suppliers on results of submission packages for full approval.Complete regular updates to ASQ Submission tracking documentation and log filesProvide status updates of supplier submission package issues and resolution.Support development of policies and procedures for all supplier-level requirementsWilling and able to travel up to 25% when applicable.Position Requirements :

　　Minimum of an Associates degree in a technical field of study or 3 years of related Quality function (non-inspection functions), experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent military experience.Recent experience in Quality functions in manufacturing in an automotive industry or similar industry.Experience with Supply chain related activity is preferred with a technical background.Basic knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation skills & basic GD&T requirements.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint) and Adobe.
