Level II MT/PT/UT Technician - Houston/Clear Lake, Tx

　　Intertek is searching for a Level II MT/PT/UT Technician with Rope Access certification to join our Industry Services team in our Houston/ Clear Lake, Tx office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Industry Services!

　　The Level II MT/PT/UT Technician must have prior Level II certification in MT/PT & UT with experience in tank inspection.

　　What you’ll do:

　　Perform various nondestructive inspections of above ground storage tanks under the direction of a Project Manager, Team Leader, or independently

　　Prepare NDE reports and document data in a clear and timely manner

　　Interface with clients on technical matters involving NDE procedures and capabilities

　　Provide a professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkers

　　Stay abreast of any new developments in NDE technologies that may be applicable in our business

　　Apply examination criteria in accordance with applicable standards/specifications/procedures on the provided job scopes and evaluate test results

　　Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors

　　Organize and report test results and send information to office for data processing

　　Follow technology advancements in the NDE industries

　　What is takes to be successful in this role:

　　ASNT Level II certification in various methods (required)

　　Experience in above ground storage tank inspection techniques such as Vacuum box, LPT, MPT, MFL, SMFL and AUT

　　Valid TWIC card (required)

　　Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record (required)

　　Able to pass physical exam

　　Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

　　Ability to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors

　　Ability to solve technical issues in the field
