About Supervisory Management Analyst

  Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Management Analyst in the Marine Forces Reserve Command of MARFORRES NOLA. Responsibilities You will review, coordinate, and monitor higher authority directives, statements of policy, and doctrine related to training to include planning, execution, and assessment for deploying Reserve units. You will access and evaluate training objectives, Mission Essential Task Lists (METLs), training plans and training budgets. You will provide direction for preparation of briefings to higher level management and subordinate commanders, and Inspector-Instructors. You will supervise the Training and Readiness Division and plan the goals, objectives and workload of the Division and provide direction for accomplishment to meet established priorities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Formulating program plans. Analyzing detailed reports and studies regarding training, exercises, and deployment. Working knowledge of training and simulation systems. Utilizing administrative data systems (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You must provide documentation supporting you are in a formal training plan (e.g., SF50 and official signed training agreement between you and your command). PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
