Title: Scientist

　　Location: South Plainfield, NJ

　　Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

　　Type: Contract

　　Responsibilities:

　　Ordering of reference products, raw materials and packaging components required for the Product development.

　　Physico-Chemical characteristic evaluation of the reference products and developed formulations.

　　Conduct and Formulate laboratory test batches to support product development.

　　Coordinate with cross functional department such as analytical, to support product development activities.

　　Read and write technical reports and specifications, maintaining appropriate records.

　　Assist other Formulation Scientists in the development or preparation of drug products and samples.

　　Strong technical writing skills and experience (i.e., SOPs, investigations, protocols, reports, submission documents, etc.)

　　Responsible for laboratory work area housekeeping.

　　Troubleshooting and repair of minor problems in Laboratory

　　Proficiency in standard office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

　　Good communication, presentation and organizational skills

　　Requirements:

　　Must have a BS degree (Masters preferred) with 5+ years in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Science, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry

　　Skills and knowledge in product development, pre-formulation, scale-up, high shear mixing, liquid/semisolid product manufacturing

　　Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to prepare and present concise, technical data reports to non-scientific counterparts.
