Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Part Time Bookkeeper in Freeport, Maine. The selected individual will be a critical part of our team, handling key financial aspects of our operations within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records

• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to manage the inflow and outflow of financial resources

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the company's cash position

• Maintain and update bookkeeping records for precise financial tracking

• Carry out data entry tasks as required for efficient financial management

• Use Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data

• Assist with month-end close procedures to finalize financial activities for the period

• Monitor and manage daily postings in financial records. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a must

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• Prior experience in Bookkeeping is essential

• Ability to perform accurate Data Entry tasks

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience in Month End Close operations is necessary
