Summary About the Position: Serve as the Resident Engineer with direct responsibility for field and contract administration work associated with the construction program assigned to the Resident Office. Supervise the Resident contract administration staff and work operations. Apply full professional engineering knowledge together with practical knowledge of construction methods and techniques in accomplishing assignments. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate the work of the Resident Office. Plan, schedule, monitor, and control construction operations at the Resident Office. Administer and modify construction contracts within the scope of the contract. Serve as the authoritative Corps representative for the Resident office. Assume full responsibility for administering the Districts’ safety program within the Resident Office.
