The primary purpose of this position will serve as first level Supervisor for the Digital Sustainment team, directing workload, projects, and management elements for team members in the MMIII Systems Directorate. DUTIES: Serve as point of contact for MMIII Digital Sustainment team. Responsible for project updates, status, schedule management, team management and leadership, and overall success of Digital Sustainment within MMIII. Work with Branch Chief and MMIII leadership to further define and evolve Digital Sustainment roadmap. Identify, define, and implement digital capabilities that will enhance efficiency, increase transparency and provide data fusion and visualization solutions to enable MMIII success. This position will manage the digital portfolio, execute projects and procure digital tools as a part of the MMIII Digital Sustainment strategy. Provide direct communication with contractors and will be responsible to manage contractor performance against cost and schedule. This position will contribute to end of year Contractor Performance Assessment Report input. Responsible for the cost, schedule and performance of day-to-day operations/activities for MMIII Digital Sustainment. Focus on "down and in" communications with Integrated Project Team (IPT) Leads to understand, define, and document customer requirements and prioritize projects to enable users. Build and maintain individual communication and trust with members of the Digital Sustainment team. Assist team members with project delivery as needed by working through blockers and obstacles. Coach and mentor individuals. Establish and maintain rapport with MMIII leadership, IPTs, and users. Act as an advocate for digital capability adoption and culture transformation. SKILLS: Three or more years of experience at the IT Enterprise Level is highly desired. Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity and infrastructure processes is extremely valued. Knowledge in digital engineering tools capabilities including Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) i.e., CAMEO, etc., Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), i.e., Teamcenter, Arris, etc., analytics and Computer Aided Drawing (CAD)/3D tools, i.e., Creo, NX, SolidWorks, Ansys, etc., visualization tools i.e., Tableau, etc., and, productivity/scheduling applications, i.e., JIRA, Primavera, etc. is highly preferred. An understanding of cloud based computing including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, etc. including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Services (IAAS), access management, authentication integration, etc. Familiarity with government cloud based solutions and systems such as Cloud One and FENCES, etc. is beneficial. Knowledge of data integration and connectivity including government data repositories is valued. Experience in program and project management in which directly responsible for the cost, schedule and performance of a project or program is preferred. Supervisory experience is desired. Ability to research and analyze external products to determine their potential for meeting mission requirements and business needs. Knowledge of concepts, practices, and techniques used to identify, engage, influence and monitor relationships with individuals and groups connected to IT work/development efforts.
