  SUPERVISOR, HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS

  WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

  This position is responsible for support of the company's Human Resources ("HR") operations functions. Leads department functions including but not limited to: HR call center, new hire processing, colleague data changes, internal transfers, inter-company transfers, terminations, personnel files, subpoenas for records, contractor onboarding and various company level data. Directs and supervises the work of staff within the operations functions providing leadership, training, and support. Support the HR Shared Services team to ensure consistent, effective HR practices, processes that support operational effectiveness. Create and monitor HR metrics to include regular reporting. Identify areas for increased efficiency.

  Human Resources Division

  Through this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference as a member of City National's Human Resources (HR) team, a diverse and dynamic group focused on supporting the full lifecycle of colleagues through an exceptional workplace experience.

  What you will do

  Supervise, develop, train and support department staff. Provide development, coaching and performance feedback including preparation and delivery of formal performance appraisals. Provide manager with compensation recommendations as appropriate.

  Collaborate with HR Systems, Finance, Technology & Innovation, and outside vendors for all workflow processes, system changes, issue resolution and new initiatives.

  Oversee all functions of the HR Operations team including but not limited to: New hires, colleague data changes, internal transfers, inter-company transfers, terminations, personnel files, subpoenas for records, contractor onboarding and various company level data.

  Create and maintain a best in class shared services call center for all HR functions. Ensure staff is trained and able to accurately answer common questions that come in.

  Perform regular audits of HR system to ensure the integrity of company and colleague level data.

  Ensure that all internal audit, SOX and FDICIA controls are performed and validated. Actively participate in the annual audit review.

  Recommend and implement change to enhance efficiency of department via automation, new technology, workflow changes.

  Perform and support other department/division duties and special projects as needed. May lead specific projects or initiatives.

  Respond to inquiries from colleagues to resolve problems and to ensure internal client satisfaction in a timely manner.

  Must-Have*

  Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience with a staff of more than two required.

  Minimum 4 years of experience working in a corporation or banking institution with 4,000+ employees required.

  Minimum 5 years of experience working with HR applications.

  Minimum 3 years of experience supervising a call center.

  Skills and Knowledge

  Thorough understanding of HR department functions and requirements.

  Proficient in MS Excel.

  Knowledge of UKG preferred.

  Ability to research processes and systems with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  Efficiently perform several tasks concurrently, handle sensitive data with integrity, confidentiality, and the utmost discretion.

  Comprehensive knowledge of applicable federal, state and local regulations and guidelines in a multi-state environment.

  Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.

  Knowledge of internal, SOX and FDICIA audit processes and controls.

  Compensation

  Starting base salary: $71,869 - $114,797 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
