Then join our team!We have a great opportunity for an experienced, motivated Calibration Technician with a strong background in the electronics test and measurements sector to join our team!In this role you will:Perform calibrations on high level and unique test and measurement instrumentation.Use your troubleshooting, repair, and calibration knowledge to work on unique equipment.Help interact with customer to determine needs relating to traceability, adequacy of standards and test procedures utilized by Trescal Inc., as well as, for items requiring repair or limited calibrationInterface directly with customers to determine needs relating to traceability, adequacy of standards and test procedures utilized by Trescal Inc. as well as for items requiring repair or limited calibrationEnsure that preventative maintenance of the laboratory's equipment is performed in a timely and acceptable manner,Managing work load distribution for the technicians within his/her sphere of influence when the Laboratory Manager is not available.Performing daily inspections of the incoming equipment to verify: accessories and manuals are available, malfunctions of customer instrumentation, and to change equipment status when appropriateRequirementsMilitary calibration training & work experience PMEL OR TMDE) OR AS Degree in a technical field OR equivalent work experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience calibrating test & measurement equipment in a commercial or military calibration laboratory.Experience in calibrating multiple disciplines of Test & Measurement Equipment; i.e.: Electrical/Electronics - DC/low and high voltageExcellent attention to detail and multi-tasking abilityStrong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workloadBENEFITS:We believe people are the most important part of every business, which is why we offer more than just great health insurance plans at a great rate.
