Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Quality Supervisor at our Fort Walton Beach, FL location.
Our Quality Team at Crane Aerospace & Electronics work on some of the highest-level critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets in some of the toughest environments: from Engines to Landing Gear, Sensing & Utilities to Fluid Management and Cabin Systems.
Our product line includes custom, semi-custom and off-the-shelf power converters and custom miniature (hybrid) electronics circuits for applications across various markets including commercial, space and military aerospace and fiber optics. We have been designing and building DC/DC converters, EMI filters, and special products since 1969.

Quality Control Supervisor Responsibilities:
Train and lead Inspectors
Assess departmental core competencies needed and develop / implement personnel development plans to address gaps.
Reporting and improvement of all quality related KPI’s
Support AS9100, customer, and government quality audits and corrective actions
Prepare and present periodic management reviews of quality systems to the Quality Manager
Ensure follow-up and closure of preventive and corrective action requests, as well as verification of effectiveness.
Maintenance of non-conforming material systems, as well as collection and reporting of costs of poor quality
Support new product design and introduction.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required. Preferred in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
2+ years as a lead or in a supervisory role. Quality assurance experience in a management role is a plus.
Experience with quality system standards regulations, including planning and implementation.
Knowledge with soldering/J Std-001, IPC620, etc. preferred.
Eligibility Requirement: This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
ASQ CQM/OE Certification
Experience with Kaizen, Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies
