Actalent is seeking a superintendent!
Description:
Main projects: Marshal, MO and Maryville, MO
Multiple K-12 renovations in the region. Will be completing all energy/ESCO upgrades to existing facilities. These include HVAC, controls, lighting, water, windows, EV charging, and other building energy upgrades. Client company will act as construction manager directly reporting to the owner.
The superintendent will be the main point of contact with owner, general contractor, and sub-contractors (5-10). They will be directly reporting to the PM on site.
The main function of this candidate will be to oversee all aspects of construction and coordinate with the owner and other various parties.
Candidates need to be able to think several weeks in advance in the coordination of sub-contractors and product delivery.
Maintaining a safe working environment is a must! Candidates must have a working knowledge of OSHA standards and it is preferred that the candidate be OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certified.
Work will take place over the course of 5 months and could continue into the next project.
Candidate will be expected to watch and control budgets and expenditures on site as well.
The best candidate for this position will be a "boots on the ground" type candidate that is willing to be out on the job site daily in the over site of work being performed on the job.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must haves:
-Previous construction management (PM, CM or Superintendent) experience of 2+ years required. Prefer a superintendent coming from a general contractor that has knowledge with mechanical/HVAC upgrade or install experience. Project size at least $2 million. Open to a field engineer or assistant super for the Marshal project.
-CM degree is highly preferred
-Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements on active jobsite -
-Technology experience with daily reports, RFI, photo upgrades, etc. They currently use CMIC, but open to ProCore or similar programs
