　　A CNC Programmer job in West Hartford, CT is now accepting applications. This is a direct hire position with our key manufacturing client. In this role, you will support on-going manufacturing processes under general supervision in order to attain smooth operating and manufacturing assembly capabilities. To be considered, you will have a High School Diploma, and 5+ years of experience in manufacturing process development and programming 5-axis CNC machinery with Siemens mastercam software.

　　CNC Programmer Job Responsibilities:

　　Identifies imperfections in manufacturing processes, including design and process engineering, material, machinery and equipment, and personnel

　　Perform programming in Mastercam for a 5-axis twin spindle SW B322 machine with Siemens 840D controls

　　Communicates with broad range of departments to incorporate corrective action

　　Establishes new procedures and techniques as appropriate

　　Maintains on-going accuracy of manufacturing process documentation with regard to product engineering specifications and manufacturing capabilities

　　Estimates cost of new process techniques and designs in support of cost reduction programs. Coordinates implementation of these plans with all departments

　　Prepares, implements and supervises layout, tooling, product flow and related engineering functions necessary to bring new product line from blueprint stage to production

　　Insure capability of process design improvements generated by Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Design Engineering with on-going assembly procedures

　　CNC Programmer Job Requirements:

　　High School Diploma required, advanced degree or certificate preferred

　　Five to ten years' experience in CNC Programming (mastercam or creo)

　　Machine prove-out experience is a plus

　　Must be computer literate and proficient Microsoft Office

　　Must have knowledge of CNC programming, equipment and tooling applications

　　Maximize efficiency by analyzing lay out of equipment, work flow, assembly equipment and work force utilization

　　Must be able to prepare and present technical information, Proficient on blue print reading and GD&T

　　Highly skilled in tool/fixture design.
