　　Job Description

　　Affinius is seeking an intern with a keen interest in gaining knowledge and experience in different areas of real estate investment management including market and investment research, investment analysis, accounting, and financial modeling. The suitable candidate will have the unique opportunity to work in Acquisitions, Portfolio and Asset Management, Development, Global Investors Group, Global Research, Compliance, Accounting and Finance, or special projects. The internship will enable the individual to learn about the real estate investment process, day-to-day business functions, and decision making of the organization as well as interfacing with all levels of management. Interns can expect an environment that nurtures and challenges while providing career-building experience that we have the flexibility to tailor to the skills and interests of the candidate.

　　Essential Duties:

　　This is a great opportunity to make an impact and gain a wide variety of experience in different areas of real estate investment management and join a small, energetic, hands-on team of professionals. Some of the responsibilities include:

　　Develop cash flow projections and investment analysis

　　Analyze potential acquisition, programmatic venture or development opportunities

　　Analyze private equity transactions, including separate accounts and fund co-investments

　　Assist with special investor reports and preparing marketing presentations

　　Commercial contract review

　　Participate in transaction due diligence

　　Conducting independent research

　　Support various ESG-related initiatives

　　Perform other essential duties as assigned

　　Requirements

　　Enrollment in a program with a concentration in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or related field in the final year of university, preferably enrolled in a Master’s program

　　Available for full-time work on site in Amsterdam

　　Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

　　Inquisitive, collaborative, and a creative problem solver

　　High degree of self-motivation and ability to set priorities

　　Sharp analytical skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy.

　　Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)

　　Must be willing to work on-site full-time for 10 weeks during the summer.

　　Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
