How you'll make an impact:
As an intern on the Employee Experience team, you'll have an immediate impact on employees across the organization by assisting in event organization, generating engagement ideas and assisting the Employee Experience team with administrative duties. As part of the Employee Experience team, you'll get the chance to work with employees across the entire organization!
What you'll do:
Administer various events including quarterly new hire sessions, ask me anything sessions, and other events as needed by scheduling, booking speakers, and handling all event logistics.
Create digital assets and videos to promote internal events.
Capture content at events for distribution on talent brand social media channels
Aggregate content submitted by employees for distribution on talent brand social media channels
Choose employee winners for exclusive opportunities to attend in-studio events and external performances.
Generate new ideas for employee engagement opportunities.
Audit our company intranet by working with stakeholders across the organization to ensure documentation presented is relevant and up to date.
Audit and update our company discounts.
Help administer and provide tours of our offices.
Assist with general administration.
What you'll need:
Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2026 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship as well as broadcasting schools with one-year programs that provide certificates of completion.
Basic Adobe Photoshop and Premiere skills
Prior HR or administrative assistant experience preferred.
Prior experience working in a media or technology environment preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and navigate within a fast-paced, rapidly changing business environment.
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be $15-16/hr and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
