In this position, you will be supporting the sales organization for the Diagnostics division of Hologic. This position is responsible for reviewing and/or developing sales contracts in a high volume and fast-paced environment and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure sales contract documents are followed and adhere to Hologic legal terms, conditions, and policies.
Throughout the 10-12 weeks you'll have the opportunity to participate in the following:
End-to-end contract lifecycle management and proposal responses
Assist the RFP Program Manager with responding to a high volume of bids and RFPs for Public Health/Government as well as Commercial customers
Assist with reviewing and/or developing sales contracts in a high volume and fast-paced environment and partner with internal and external customers to ensure sales contract documents are following and adhering to Hologic legal terms, conditions, and policies
Assist with contract review for CLM implementation
We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Key qualifications include the following:
Able to work full-time over the summer months (May-August)
Currently enrolled in a Law degree program and have at least one semester remaining to complete after the internship
Enrolled in Law School, fits well with undergrad in Business, Science, Economics
Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.0
Detail Oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
Interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Negotiating and relationship-building skills
Experience or exposure to working with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to work onsite at our San Diego, CA campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided
The hourly pay range for this role is $19 - $30 per hour. Compensation is determined by class standing and operational function.
