  Purpose of the role

  BAO Systems is seeking passionate and dedicated interns to join our dynamic team for Summer 2024 (June through August). This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, expand your knowledge, and contribute to meaningful projects that address critical challenges in global health and international development.

  Core job responsibilities

  Research & Analysis: Conduct research on global health issues, policy frameworks, and best practices to support ongoing projects and initiatives.

  Project Support: Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of development projects, including monitoring progress, analyzing data, and preparing reports.

  Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, partners, and stakeholders to facilitate knowledge sharing, coordination, and synergy in project activities.

  Communication: Support communication efforts through content creation, social media management, and dissemination of information to raise awareness and mobilize support for global health initiatives.

  Administrative Tasks: Assist in administrative duties, including organizing meetings, maintaining databases, and coordinating logistics for events, workshops, and conferences

  Other duties as assigned

  Required skills/experience

  Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Public Health, International Development, Global Studies, Nursing/Medical, Social Sciences, etc.).

  Strong interest in global health, international development, and humanitarian affairs.

  Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.

  Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite.
