PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
As a Training Co-op Student, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of Instructional Designers, Learning Management System (LMS) professionals, and Learning Support Coordinators. You will assist the team with processing and responding to training inquiries received in the Learning Management System as well as the Learning Support shared mailboxes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to utilize eLearning authoring and multimedia tools and software to create assigned development projects.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support the design, development and delivery of learning programs and initiatives for the organization
Develop or modify existing instructional materials, including e-learning modules, PowerPoints, and job aids
Process and respond to general inquiries in the shared mailboxes
Support the implementation of technical training programs and related material (both in-class and online)
Validate, process, and enter records in the Learning management system
Maintain team trackers and spreadsheets
Troubleshoot and test user issues with online courses
Other duties as needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Enrollment in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Educational Technology, Human Resources, or a related field
Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft products, particularly Excel
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, and Premiere
Graphic Design, Photography and Videography experience is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
Creative mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Bilingual fluency in French or Spanish is an asset
Highly detail orientated
