　　The internship is finalized through a tripartite agreement between the selected student, their university and Dow Jones. We recommend that you check with your university that you are eligible to complete this internship as a part of your degree/program before application.

　　About the Role:

　　The Dow Jones Factiva team is seeking a smart, energetic undergraduate student to join our team for Summer 2024. We're looking for someone with a background in Business or Data Science and top-notch analytical skills. You will be working with our colleagues in other teams such as Sales Operations, Data & AI, and Finance to deliver deep analysis on product usage and performance. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and a fast learner. You'll be learning about our Operations and Commercial Strategy processes, as well as the various systems to analyze and report on user engagement, feedback and commercial terms. We're looking for a go-getter with the desire to contribute to our fast-paced and technology-driven work environment. You must also work well with global, diverse teams and be able to take on initiatives and lead projects.

　　This role is hybrid, based in our Barcelona office.

　　You Will:

　　Run analyses to derive insights that drive future GTM, product and solution decisions, and stand up reporting frameworks on business and product performance

　　Deliver a proposal for the design and automation of OKR reports across our Risk & Research group

　　Perform data analysis across Factiva's product lines

　　Support staff in assigned project-based work

　　You Have:

　　Completed atleast two years of university level study & are studying Computer Science / Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. The role is open to students studying a Bachelor's or a Master's program

　　Advanced Excel, VBA, scripting languages skills (Python and/or Java)

　　An intellectually curious mind, and are willing to express thoughts freely

　　A solid level of analytical, strategic and critical thinking and a big picture mentality as the wider business interests precede departmental interests

　　Excellent organizational skills

　　Resilient and able to work through ambiguity

　　A self-starter attitude and are to collaborate with others in a cross-functional team

　　Proficiency in English
