　　The Cost Accountant is responsible for gathering and analyzing data to be used by management team to understand operating results. Cost Accountant is also responsible for maintenance of product standard costs.

　　This position is part of the Cost Accounting team and will be located in Redwood City, CA.

　　In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

　　Function as the primary contact person for all Cost Accounting related activities for US commercial sites and a portion of US manufacturing site

　　Support management decisions by providing data related to inventory and other cost of goods sold (OCOGS)

　　Maintain product standards costs for new items, and update costs annually for all items

　　Respond to ad-hoc questions

　　The essential requirements of the job include:

　　High level of customer service focus: must be able to provide data to user base in a timely manner

　　Desire to learn: willingness to accept new tasks and assignments

　　Flexibility: able to manage deadlines for multiple tasks

　　Analytical skills: ability to recognize “bigger picture”; impact of solution to current issue

　　It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

　　2+ years of Accounting experience, Cost Accounting experience desirable but not required

　　Excel required, Oracle a plus

　　Strong customer service skills

　　Strong verbal and written communication skills

　　Team player

　　The salary range for this role is $92,000 - $100,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

　　This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
