onsemi is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the External Manufacturing Engineering group in San Jose. We enable Supplier innovation, world class cost, quality, and strong partnership with suppliers to accelerate onsemi’ s growth. During your internship you will be involved in all aspects of semiconductor manufacturing with emphasis on project management of new product introduction to external Assembly and Test factories. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the procedures and systems involving external Assembly and Test factories. You will have opportunity to learn of latest in Image Sensors, Power Management Devices in addition to classic Silicon Semiconductor technology.

　　You will also be exposed to Package Design and Product Applications.

　　Responsibilities

　　Work with the team to consolidate product and technology road maps.

　　Help and involve with Package Process Risk assessment, DFM (Design for Manufacturability) for New Products.

　　Conduct Market research and Competitive analysis of Image Sensing and Power Management Packages.

　　Help develop a summary reporting tool/format for new product development (NPD) gate approvals.

　　Work on developing a Dashboard /Platform for communicating with Asia teams.

　　Assist with streamlining General work procedures (GWP) and standard operating procedures (SOP).
