　　Catalogs materials.Assists students/staff with the retrieval of information and materials.Maintains an orderly circulation systemProcesses loans and returns and prepares overdue noticesKeeps books, periodicals, pamphlets, etc., properly shelvedOversees the cleaning, repair, and replacement of library/media equipment and materials. Mends books/periodicals.Performs minor equipment repairsDiscards outdated or damaged materials following board-adopted proceduresInventories the library collection and media equipment as directedHelps students/staff use library/media computers, peripherals, and equipment (e.g., videos, CD-ROMs, audio tapes, etc.).Assists teachers with the operation of audio-visual equipmentComplies with district procedures to account for the collection of authorized student fees and fines for LRC materialsRequirements

　　High School Diploma or GED.Clean criminal background.Three (3) positive professional references.Experience working with school aged children.After Hire (Contingent)

　　Ohio Department of Education Educational Aide Permit ($25), or higher license.FBI & BCI Background checks dated within 12 months (Cost varies per agency).After Hire (Contingent)
