POSITION Substitute Aide - Media Center LOCATION North Ridgeville City Schools PAY RATE $14.98 per hour

　　Assist the certificated staff by completing routine clerical tasks in the media center to insure:

　　Maximum utilization of the media center by students and teachers.Maximum availability of the media specialist to work with students and teachers.A well organized and efficient media center.

　　Assist students and teachers in the utilization of the media center.Assist in the supervision of students to insure the proper care and use of materials and equipment and to maintain an atmosphere conducive to study and reading.

　　Follow Schedule and complete responsibilities daily as assigned by the building principal and/or the Library Media Specialist.

　　Keep all knowledge of students, staff and parents confidential.

　　Requirements

　　High School Diploma or GED.Clean criminal background.Three (3) positive professional references.Experience working with school aged children.After Hire (Contingent)

　　Ohio Department of Education Educational Aide Permit ($25), or higher license.FBI & BCI Background checks dated within 12 months (Cost varies per agency).Details

　　Part-time; on-call;

　　Potential for long term placement; 30-35 hours per week
