Position Overview: They are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the team ONSITE in Wilsonville, Oregon. The team values continuous improvement, accuracy, and attention to detail. responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multi-state, multi-site payroll processes.
Handle union payroll in a construction environment.
High-volume payroll processing of +1500 employees
Auditing timesheets for accuracy
Calculating employee paychecks, withholdings, garnishments and other deductions
Accurate documentation and record-keeping
Compiling information, pulling reports and conducting analysis
Continuously strive to improve payroll processes and standards.
Acquiring necessary approvals and signatures for distribution
Calculating and making adjustments for raises, bonuses and commissions
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all payroll activities.
Collaborate with the team to maintain a laid-back and highly communicative work environment.
Contribute to the success of the payroll function
qualifications:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience in multi-state, multi-site payroll, particularly in a construction environment.
Union payroll experience
High-volume payroll processing - +1500 employees
Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving payroll practices.
Certifications such as CPP, FPC, CPS, or similar would be a huge plus.
Compensation: $65,000 to $80,000 (DOE) plus a comprehensive benefits package.
