  Project Outline:

  This summer internship will be hosted by the Global Evidence and Outcomes (GEO) group, and it will provide a broad understanding of how GEO contributes within a cross-functional multidisciplinary matrixed organization to drive product strategy. You will assist with projects focused on systematic literature reviews, retrospective database analyses, and desk research linking data from key GEO tactics to potential value propositions and brand strategies. The projects will involve cross-functional collaboration with regional (e.g., APAC and EU) and global teams (e.g., market access, patient advocacy, commercial, and medical affairs), with the end goal of identifying evidence gaps and subsequent strategies to fill those gaps.

  By the end of the internship, you will have a good understanding of product placement and strategy, cross-functional collaborations and communications, and applicability of skills learned in graduate school to deliver on product strategy and drug development.

  Knowledge of research study design, biostatistics, data interpretation, targeted and systematic literature reviews, and data analysis demonstrated via posters or publications.

  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong technical writing skills are also required.

  Requirements / Qualifications:

  Currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Takeda does not provide sponsorship for internship positions.

  Available to work full-time (40 hours per week), within the core business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.

  Undergraduate, Graduate, PhD, MD student with completion of a minimum of one year of university studies.

  Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship with Takeda.

  Please note that Takeda does not provide intern housing or a housing stipend.

  The hourly pay rate range is $20.00 per hour - $46.00 per hour. The final pay rate offered for this internship may consider several factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
