JOB REQUIREMENTS: We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, isseeking aStudent - Power Generation(Vacation Relief Employee) at ourGermantown Power Plant inGermantown, Wisconsin. This is a full-timestudent position that begins in May/June and lasts over the summermonths (Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm). Starting Pay: \$18.10Job Responsibilities Complete required safety training for facility. Theemployee will perform routine preventative maintenance when properlytrained; examples include the changing of air, fuel, water and lube oilfilters, lubricating and greasing equipment, etc. The employee willperform routine grounds keeping tasks when properly trained examplesinclude the maintenance of fencing, removal of plants in and around thefence, and general yard cleanup. Cleaning & Maintenance (e.g. dusting,sweeping, painting, equipment/facility cleaning & maintenance, unloading& loading warehouse products, garbage removal, general cleaning, etc.).Employee logs data and maintains accurate records, including equipmentlists. The employee may assist in troubleshooting or correctingmalfunctions of equipment, including pumps, motors, valves, fans, aircompressors, gear trains, fuel and water systems, lighting systems,steam generators, turbines, etc. The employee may perform samplecollections and maintain records. The employee may assist in equipmentisolation, if trained. May require the use of a respirator in certainsituations. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older.High School diploma, GED, or HSED. Enrolled as a part-time/full-timestudent pursuing a Technical, Associate, Bachelor, or Master\'s Degree.A valid driver\'s license.
