About Student Brand Ambassador

  Become a Student Brand Ambassador for Westlaw, the most-used legal research platform by law firm attorneys for 18 years and counting. As the face of Westlaw on campus, Student Brand Ambassador knows the goings-on of the law school, along with student culture, and promotes Westlaw as the number one research solution to other law students. A high-impact Student Brand Ambassador has excellent interpersonal skills, is creative, and can engage with both professors, librarians, and students both online and on-campus to drive Westlaw preference and usage.

  About the Role:

  In this opportunity as a Student Brand Ambassador, you will:

  Educate law students on why Westlaw is the number one research solution. Effectively utilize social media to increase awareness of Westlaw's brand, events, and classesDrive brand marketing by being highly approachable and influencing large target audiencesBuild professional working relationships with your legal writing program, library, and school administratorsDevelop strategic partnerships to assist students with research assignmentsMaintain current knowledge of campus events and activities

  About You:

  You're a fit for the role of Student Brand Ambassador if you have:

  Encompass a creative mindset, working independently with a high sense of responsibility and initiativeCurrent student at the specific school of Law, in good standingHas excellent interpersonal skills, is creative, and can engage with students, professors, and librariansAn ability to build and leverage social media networks to drive student engagement. An existing social media presence on multiple platforms is a plusProficient level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)An understanding of legal research and the application of online legal research toolsWillingness to expertly learn Westlaw and other Thomson Reuters productsLeadership experience and campus involvement preferred (sports, clubs, organizations)

  Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $10 - $25. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
