The Details

Shifts Available: All Shifts

Pay: $17–$19/hour + $520/week in per diem (with two forms of validation)

Bonus: Paid at successful completion of testing/orientation/1st day ($100), 250 hours worked ($200), and 500 hours worked ($300)

Duration: 3+ months

Your Role as a Welding Pro

As a Shipyard Welder , your mastery of Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) will take center stage as you perform precision welding on massive maritime vessels. As a Welder, your expertise in Flux Core Arc Welding will be put to the test as you perform qualified welds with precision and efficiency on large fleet maritime vessels. Previous shipyard/welding experience is a plus as all candidates will need to successfully complete required welding tests to meet our stringent quality standards.

Make the Blueprint Reality: Read and execute from blueprints and 3D schematics to assemble and align parts.

What We’re Looking For

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

2+ years of welding experience preferred, especially in custom build shops or shipyards.

Prior shipyard experience is a big plus.

Skills:

Mastery of blueprints and schematics.

Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, and work in tight spaces.

Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
