  Job Description

  AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to be based in Clifton, NJ.

  This position is expected to begin June 2024.

  The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  Responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning, design, and modification phase of projects.

  Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained int eh academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

  Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

  Qualifications

  Minimum Requirements:

  Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

  Must have completed 1 year of study.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Strong written and verbal communication skills

  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

  Sponsorship is available for this position.

  Non-Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (New Jersey locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $20.65/HR - $28.39/HR.
